First Star Gazing Night

Marvel at the planets Mars and Jupiter, along with its four Galilean moons.
Explore the young, hot stars and the ancient red giants in the constellations of Orion and Taurus. Discover the night sky and get inspired by the oldest Greek mythological constellations and their fascinating stories.
And that's not all! There’s so much more to explore beyond our solar system: The Orion Nebula, the Crab Nebula, the Rosette Nebula, or the Christmas Tree Cluster, just to name a few...
Program 26th April 2025
We will be joined by Monique Spitaels, expert from the Observatory in Bruges (Belgium). She will introduce us into the mysteries of the Alentejo night sky, will point out all the secrets and will answer our questions.
Binoculars, a smart telescope, star maps, and a wealth of informative material will be available to help us learn how to navigate the night sky with ease and excitement. Of course you can also bring your own equipment.
