Our search for better food quality and honest production techniques that respect and even restore nature, finally brought us to Monte do Roque in Central Alentejo in Portugal. We would now like to share all our previous experiences, local experiments and acquired knowledge with whoever is interested in making the journey on this earth a better one.
Products
When buying products at Monte do Roque, you not only ensure to enjoy honest, healthy and nutritious products from a known source, you also participate in preserving the traditional environment and the world we will leave our children. Products are made available for pick up at the farm, or for neighbourhood deliveries (Estremoz – Evora)Learning
More than ever, we like to know how and where our food is grown and who the farmers providing it are. Monte do Roque offers you exactly that. Our doors are open. You are always welcome to visit Monte do Roque, a unique experience you can share with us and all our happy creatures. Immerse yourself in our running farm on our montado: come and stay a few days on our Farm; Stay in one of our 5 newly installed rooms, join one of our seminars on real food or regerative agriculture, or become part of our team as an intern or farm-hand.

Savour the quiet in the middle of nature, incredible views of the monte and the beautiful hills in the distance. Enjoy amazing night skies and sunrises, make stunning walks, freshen up in the pool or join some of our farm activities on a real operational regenerative farm.

Located in the centre of Alentejo, Monte do Roque is close to many historical tourist destinations, castles and Unesco heritage centres Evora and Elvas. Visit the historic village and castle of Evora Monte, explore the wineries in the area or one of the unique location in the surroundings.
